A beautiful example of an antique solid silver & paste brooch which I have reworked in to a pendant.  The Crescent Moon motif was made popular from the Georgian period through to Victorian.  It was used to celebrate the Moon Godess and it became associated with female empowerment; often given to brides to wear on their wedding day.  Using our silver gold plated lonk link chain to add a modern edge, with an antique silver & paste cluster to give balance and enhance the history & romance of this piece.  A spectacular one of a kind ❤️

Care For Gold Plate & Gold Filled Jewellery ❤️

Normal wear will make the gold fade; longevitiy of the plating will depend on how it is looked after, skin PH levels & frequency of wear.  Treat it as a precious piece and it will last.  To help maintain the plating, keep in an airtight container or a lined jewellery box, do not wear perfume or creams in the same area that you wear your jewellery.  Remove before exercise, swimming, sleeping & avoid humidity.  After wear, clean gently with a soft lint free or microfiber cloth.
