It's not often we find Black Dot Georgian paste stones in such wonderful condition as these; each one cut by hand to be set in to the antique Silver frame. The edges of the frame are gently fluted & a daisy cluster of stones is set parallel to the other. This is such a beautiful piece, most likely a buckle to a shoe in the early 1800s; just incredible to consider the history of this piece. We have reworked the mechanisms to create this statement bracelet; connecting it a double width of our 14ct Gold Plated over 925 Silver chunky Belcher chain to balance the bold nature of this piece. A showstopper!
Bracelet can be clasped from 61/4 iches to 7 inches. Please do let us know if you need these measurements altered.
Buckle measures approx 2 inches across widest point
Care For Gold Plate & Gold Filled Jewellery ❤️
Normal wear will make the gold fade; longevitiy of the plating will depend on how it is looked after, skin PH levels & frequency of wear. Treat it as a precious piece and it will last. To help maintain the plating, keep in an airtight container or a lined jewellery box, do not wear perfume or creams in the same area that you wear your jewellery. Remove before exercise, swimming, sleeping & avoid humidity. After wear, clean gently with a soft lint free or microfiber cloth.
See Jewellery Care section for more information.
Large Georgian Silver Buckle Bracelet
Unique antique pieces are less robust and may have signs of wear due to their history, they are beautifully imperfect. Please treat as fragile and look after them with care ❤️
