These Victorian pins are just beautiful - full of hidden messages, history & romance. Originating in the late 1800s, theywere given as "love tokens" usually depicting the classic motifs of the Victorian era. This particular Sweetheart Pin is a silver heart placed on a silver bar etched with Pansie flowers. Flowers were very popular in the Victorian era as a way to express love & friendship. Each flower had a different meaning & Pansies held the message of "Thinking of You". We have used our fine 2mm 18ct gold filled belcher to create this piece, making the charm the focal point. This necklace is one to be passed down through generations. Wear it solo or layer with others, eitherway you will treasure it ❤️
Necklace measures 16 inches but can also be clasped at 14.5 inches.
Pendant measures 1.75 inches across widest point.
Care For your Plated Jewellery ❤️
Normal wear will make the gold fade & will also depend on how it is looked after, skin type & frequency of wear. Treat it as a precious piece and it will last. To help maintain the plating, keep in an airtight container or a lined jewellery box, do not wear perfume or creams in the same area that you wear your jewellery. Remove before exercise, swimming, sleeping. If knocked against other jewellery or dropped, plate may scratch/wear & silver dent. After wear, clean gently with a soft lint free or microfiber cloth.
See Jewellery Care section for more information.
Silver pieces can be cleaned with a dry silver cloth.
