Originating in the late 1800s, these brooches were given as "love tokens" usually depicting the classic motifs of the Victorian era that had hidden meaning.  This particular Sweetheart Pin is two silver hearts & a swallow.  The two heart motifs represent forever love and the swallow bird epicted safe return home or journey.  This would have been originally given to a loved one before the their partner was who's partner was to embark on a journey.  We have used our fine 2mm gold filled belcher to create this piece, making the charm the focal point.  Full of history & a story to tell, this necklace is one to be passed down through generations.  Wear it solo or layer with others, eitherway you will treasure it ❤️

Keep in an airtight container or a lined jewellery box, do not wear perfume or creams in the same area that you wear your jewellery.  Remove before exercise, swimming, sleeping.  To clean, gently buff with a soft and dry cotton or microfiber cloth.
